Returns and Refunds Policy

Thanks for purchasing our products at At Half Price Parts we are committed to fantastic customer service. If you are not happy with a product you have purchased or you have changed your mind, contact us today to discuss our returns policy or read more below.

Conditions of return

Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. You will need to contact us prior before returning. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

If you have purchased the incorrect part, you will be required to pay for return postage, and a 20% restocking fee.

If we have described the part incorrectly Half Price Parts will reimburse return postage, initial postage and the price of the part. (Once the part is received)

Additional non-returnable items: 

- All Electrical Parts
  No electrical items are available for return, this is due to the nature of electrical items. We also cannot tell if you have connected them to a vehicle. 

- Any part that has been used/fitted
  The item must be in it's new condition and original packaging or no refund/credit will be given.
- Any sale items
  Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Damages During Shipping
If your item has been Damaged/Lost/Broken by Australia Post during transit, you will only be eligible for a refund if Insurance was purchased with the Shipping. We have no control over courier companies.

Refunds (if applicable) 
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable) 
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges (if applicable) 
You will need to let us know of any issues within 14 days. We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Please send us an email at or call 0412 760 479 to discuss. Does not include any Damaged/Lost/Broken by Australia Post during transit.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If an incorrect item has been purchased or the parts fitment was not confirmed by your local dealership before purchasing there will be a 20% restocking fee upon the return of the item. 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Insurance covers any losses or damages. 

We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

The Australian Consumer Law

Our products and goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.


There are no warranties on the parts sold by Half Price parts. 

We will not be liable to you for indirect and consequential loss (including without limitation for loss of revenue, loss of profits, failure to realise expected profits or savings and any other commercial or economic loss of any kind) or loss or corruption of data, in contract, tort, under any statute or otherwise (including negligence) arising from or connected to the Site or the Product.
